Jamaica Education for the Poor Foundation (JEPF) is excited to announce that it will be the beneficiary of this year’s Taste of Jamaica Festival, presented by JEPF Food & Wine Festivals. The annual festival, which celebrates the best of Caribbean cuisine and local wines, will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Prince William County Fairground located at 10624 Dumfries Road in Manassas, Virginia 20112.

As a 501(c) non-profit organization dedicated to building a leadership training center in Jamaica for at-risk youth, JEPF is honored to be the beneficiary of this year’s festival. 

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Foundation’s mission of empowering at-risk youth in Jamaica by providing them with the tools and resources they need to become leaders in their communities.

This year’s festival will feature a variety of Jamaican dishes, including Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Curried Goat, Curry Chicken, Escovitch Fish, Jerk Ribs, Jerk Steak, Brown Stew Chicken, and Jerk Hot Dogs, all served with Rice and Peas and Salad. 

Reggae wines will also be available for guests to enjoy. Live music and entertainment will set the mood, making for a truly unforgettable experience.
